Tokyo Metropolitan University Tokyo is a public university headquartered in Hachioji, Tokyo. Known as "Tokyo Metropolitan University". Founded in 2005. It was based on the promise "to create an entirely new university" advocated by the Tokyo Governor at the time. Four universities and junior colleges that were in Tokyo at that time were integrated and established as Tokyo Metropolitan University Tokyo. There are a wide variety of faculties and departments. You can also learn courses unique to Tokyo Metropolitan University, such as courses to learn practical issues for big cities, and courses to develop practical skills for solving as well as undergraduate schools that can learn humanities, law, and business administration. The university consists of three campuses, and in addition to the Minami-Osawa campus, there are campuses in Hino and Arakawa. Tokyo University was ranked 9th among Japanese universities in the Times Times Education World University Ranking published by the United Kingdom Times in 2015.
